Acer AspireRevo AR3610-U2002 Desktop (Dark Blue)

Acer AspireRevo AR3610-U2002 Desktop (Dark Blue)

This thing is pretty cool...snagged my 3G wireless signal without hesitation, has a cool modern cosmetic package, and I dig the wireless mouse and keyboard. But I am not crazy about the fact that the speaker line-outputs are on the front with the balance of the jack-packs are on the rear...might be OK if my monitor was VESA standard and I could have mounted the CPU on the back, as is an option. Only real complaint so far is the little jewel has had trouble sorting out the keyed version of some of the demo software...but that could be operator error. Its a pretty cool device for a non-computer person like myself.

Acer AspireRevo AR3610-U2002 Desktop comes with these specs: Intel Atom Processor 330, Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit), NVIDIA ION Chipset, 2GB DDR2 Memory, Integrated NVIDIA ION Graphics, 250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive, Multi-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader, High-Definition Audio Support, 6 - USB 2.0, VGA and HDMI Ports, Wireless Keyboard and Mouse, 9.0 lbs. 4.08 kg (system unit only), 1 Year Parts and Labor Limited Warranty, AC Power Adapter, AC Power Cord, Registration/ Limited Warranty Card, McAfee Internet Security Suite 2009 Trial

D-Link DFE-530TX+ 10/100 Fast Ethernet Desktop Adapter

D-Link DFE-530TX+ 10/100 Fast Ethernet Desktop Adapter

My first impression is "this is such a cheapo lookin' card, but for the price, I guess I can give it a try"... Boy, was I wrong or what? The installation is so easy, it took 2 minutes and 40 seconds, including opening and closing the computer cover, and software driver.

The card's performance is second to none, far exceeds my Linksys and Netgear, even Intel cards. Ever since, I've buying this particular card for my home and professional networking use, and it never failed me.

I know some people gets uncomfortable when they see a "ancient floppy disk" for storing driver. But darn it, it works great. And what's amazing about D-Link, is that they always seem to include the latest driver in their packaging.

I have bought over 60 of these cards, and the driver date is just barely 2 - 3 months old on every purchase. Consider Linksys, their drivers are at least 1 year old. To top it off, Windows 2000 and ME has build-in drivers for this card, and the floppy isn't even needed.

Overall, this is a good performing card at a wonderful price. They use the SAME chipset (stamped with their own name) that other competitors use as well, but they did it much less expensive... Definitely +++!

Digital Innovations 1051100 Accessory Kit

Digital Innovations 1051100 Accessory Kit

I agree with the previous reviews that this product is much too expensive and that the wheels should be packaged seperately. Unfortunately, I was not able to locate a cheaper alternative that did not end up costing me more when I added in the shipping. I guess if you have Amazon Prime (as I do) then this is the best option. Since one wheel fixes up to 50 disks and the cost of replacing those disks would be so much more than the $12.99 this replacement kit costs, I guess the price is worth it.
